My First

I have just been asked to make my first wedding cake. OMGOMGOMGOMG! I am so excited. It is pretty simple design wise. This picture is what they got their inspiration from. There will be no topper. It will have 3 layers, the main cake is a sage green and the snowflakes and tops will be a champagne color. It's chocolate with raspberry filling. Which is good because I found the best chocolate cake recipe ever.

It's not until February (2 days after my bday, that has to be good luck)so it gives me a little time to practice and get the colors right.

I so hope it all goes well.

Hunter's Oasis

This cake is similar to the camping one except it's more of a hunting theme. I found a buck to go on and I cut the guns from my kids little army men to have at camp. Can't hunt with out a gun.

I made these cupcakes for a friend who volunteers for this shelter. They were having a garage sale of sorts to raise money.

A friend was celebrating a couple peoples birthdays while they were camping so I made this cake for her to take.

Andrew's 6th Birthday

A volcano cake for my son's 6th birthday. It was really fun to make even though I was sicker than a dog. I think I washed my hands 100 times. It was supposed to smoke out the top by our dry ice evaporated some how overnight in the freezer. I went to take it out of the bag it was in and the bag was totally empty.

My Son Noah's 2nd Birthday

Noah was really into trains, so with his help and his brother Andrew we decorated each of these trains. Everything edible (except the tracks).

Alice And The Wonder of Dance

This is one of my favorites. It was for a friend who dance class was in the play. My caterpillar is not very good but it was harder to make than I thought it would be.

OK, not rabbits but ducks. My brother-in law is a hunter and this is the cake I made for his birthday. It was a disaster from the start. My son at one point accitently knocked the whole cake out of the fridge.
